Bill Moyers returns to his home town to find that it is "a new town perched on the memory of one that's gone," in Marshall, Texas; a 90 minute documentary special to air on public television as the premiere of A Walk Through the 20th Century with Bill Moyers. A series of special exploring the major events, personalities, and mores which shaped our century. A Walk Through the 20th Century is Moyers' personal attempt specials are produced by The Corporation for Entertainment & Learning, Inc. and Bill Moyers, presented by WNET/Thirteen, New York, and KQED/San Francisco, and are made possible b ya grant from Chevron.
