Description
A.C. -- When word of the unidentified targets reach land and carrier based interceptor squadrons, they are alerted. Through the inter-service network, the message from the destroyer is relayed to the squadrons in the immediate vicinity of that area. Army Anti-aircraft Units also receive the alert signal, and the coastal area is made ready to defend against the incoming strange targets. Like the two crewmen of the F-94 jet interceptor, the members of the armed forces of all services are ready for any eventuality shortly after the initial message leaves the destroyer.
