Ervin J. Lang, victim of torture murder, with his family and mother-in-law in happy days. Lang, holding his stepson, had lived with Mrs. Blanche Dunkel (R), his mother-in-law, after death of his wife, Nellie (L). Mrs. Dunkel was placed under arrest in slaying.
