Description

Mehrlich was appointed director of the army's Quartermaster Food and Container Institute for the Armed Forces, Chicago, Illinois to work on the vast and unusual subsistence and packaging needs of the Armed Forces. He will also be a liaison with other Government agencies, the British Army and Ministry of Food, CONARC, and industry.
