PRACTICES WITH ARCHERS.John Chester Williams (born September 12, 1953) is an archer from the United States, who was born in Cranesville, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Northwestern High School. After winning the 1971 world title, he won the gold medal in the men's individual achery competition at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, West Germany. It was the first Olympic archery medal in 52 years.John was coached by Clarence Fowkes who guided the U.S. team through the infamous 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Germany.(WIKIPEDIA)
