Every photo in our collection is an original vintage print from a newspaper or news service archive, not a digital image. Please see our FAQ for more information.

Description
A bust of former President Franklin D. Roosevelt was unveiled at the little White House where FDR died in 1945. Sculptor John W. Williamson (second from left) modeled the bust in 1932 while he was a college student. Mrs. Williamson, left, unveiled the bust during ceremonies marking the 81st anniversary of Roosevelt's birth. C.F. Palmer, right, Atlanta financier, accepted the bust for the Franklin D. Roosevelt Warm Springs Memorial Commission of which he is chairman.
