Georgia Governor Carl E. Sanders talks to newsmen outside a New Orleans court after learning that the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that the State Legislature can elect the next governor of his state. Governor Sanders declined to endorse either party's candidate but indicated that Lester Maddox would likely win because of a majority of Democrats in the state Legislature.
