James Sampson makes the first cut in a 19th anniversary cake to the 22nd Fire battalion by Charles Thinger (left). Each May 23, Thinger delivers cake to station house to show his appreciation to fire fighters who saved his life in 1959. Sampson was one of the first fireman who responded.
