Phil Regan in "The Phil Regan Show."Phil Regan (28 May 1906 - 11 February 1996) was an American singer and actor, who later served time for bribery in a real estate scandal.Regan was born in 1906 in New York. He worked as a detective on the NYPD, before his singing was overheard by a radio producer at a party. This earned him the nickname "The Singing Cop".
