Chicago - Howard St. John on the set of "Fairmeadows U.S.A." following his performance on the half-hour television serial drama over WNBQ. St. John is starring in two media at the same time. He portrays an elderly British newspaper baron, Lord Frobisher, in the new S.N. Behrman play "Jane" which opened at Broadway's Coronet Theatre. Then he must rush to memorize lines for his TV portrayal of a kindly husband and father of three children on the video series Sunday afternoons. Both performances are drawing critical praise.
