Description

This dress, being worn by Grace Roosevelt, has a style reminiscent of the gay '90s, but it is much more modern than one might suppose. Miss Roosevelt is the debutante daughter of Col. Theodore Roosevelt and she is dressed as a Filipina. She adopted this type of garb shortly after arriving in Manila, where she now lives with her parents in Malacanan Palace, residence of the governor-general.
