Description
Ralph C. Hobbs, 45, is arraigned before a U.S. commissioner in Pittsburgh today in connection with the theft of 10 contemporary paintings valued at over $500,000. Hobbs, an unemployed salesman from Beaver Falls,PA was arrested by the FBI today and charged with interstate transport of stolen property. Hobbs waived hearing and was held on $5,000 bond. The paintings were taken from the Pittsburgh suburb home of G. David Thompson last July.
