France's President, M. Lebrun pardons Rreginald P. Thurston, a British member of the . French Foreign legion, who waa sentenced to life imprisonment for attempted murder and theft. The pardon follows intervention by the British Ambassador in Paris. British Government having taken the view that there was doubt about Thurston's guilt. He would be released immediately.
