YOUNGSTERS PICKET THE UNITED NATIONS HERE EARLY 8/6 AS THEY MARK THE 15TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE HIROSHIMA ATOM BOMBING WITH A "43 HOUR VIGIL FOR NUCLEAR DISARMAMENT." ABOUT 25 DEMONSTRATORS BEGAN THE VIGIL ABOUT 5PM ADT 8/5. SOME WENT HOME LATER. ALL BUT FOYR OF THE PICKETS WHO REMAINED 8/6 WERE HIGH SCHOOL OR COLLEGE STUDENTS. MANY SAID THEY WERE NOT MEMBERS OF ANY GROUP AND DENIED THAT THEY WERE PACIFISTS. SEVERAL SAID THEY WERE MEMBERS OF THE COMMITTEE FOR A SANE NUCLEAR POLICY.
