1943 Press Photo Night lights for the Navy Convoy bringing supplies to Malta

Description
A convoy, bringing supplies that will last for several months to Malta, was great news for the people of the most bombed island in the world and cause for much celebration. Photo shows arc lights that flooded the harbor lighting the way for men unloading the convoy at night. Fighter protection and the work of the British Navy and Merchant Navy brought a series of convoy a fly to the besieged island.
