Credit - ACME and NEA New York, New York - Madeline Rogers, 15, of Wichita, Kansas, who is one of the six winners in the National Sewing Contest, sponsored by the National Needlecraft Bureau, is shown wearing the cape made from salvaged airplane cloth, which won her the $100 War Bond prize in the Original Design, Junior Division of the contest.

Photo was taken at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel, where prizes were awarded. Miss Rogers holds the War Bond she won.
