Description
Credit - ACME and NEA Atwater, Ohio - Leading the few remaining veterans of the Grand Army of the Republic to Cleveland for their 5-day-national encampment August 10, will be their 102-year-old commander-in-chief, John Henry Grate, shown playing Chinese checkers with his housekeeper, Mrs. Frank Nichols, in his Atwater, Ohio home. John Grate believes a stern military attitude toward Russia's military training for youth, and Ohio's Senator Robert Taft in the White House may be just the answer to present day problems and preventatives of another world war.
