Lennart Strandberg was a Swedish athlete, who competed mainly in the 100 meters at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. Lennart Stranberg finished sixth in the 100m at the Berlin Olympics. He was in 3rd place behind Jesse Owens and Ralph Metcalfe of the US, but his thigh burst 20 yards before the finish and started to slow down the limp. Credit- United Press
