New Mazda Navajo - Mazda will introduce the Navajo sport utility vehicle in the fall of 1990 as a 1991 model. The two-door, four-wheel drive Navajo is powered by a 4.0-liter, multi-point fuel-injected V-6 that produces 155 horsepower at 4,200 rpm. Inside, there is ample room for four passengers and their gear. The Navajo will be covered by Mazda's three-year/50,000 mile zero deductible bumper-to-bumper warranty. auto, for, Japan, Mazda The 1991 Ford Escort GT (left) was introduced this week. The sport version of the Escort, which is a sister car the the Mercury Tracer, features a 127-horsepower, 4-cylinder engine, a rear spoiler and four-wheel disc breaks. Mazda also has introduced a new sport utility vehicle, the Navajo (below). It will only come in a two-door version while its sister vehicle, the Ford Explorer, will come in two and four-door models.
