Japan: US Evacuees: Driving a jeep 47 miles over ox cart roads Shaula Crosson, 16 and her mother, Mrs. William F. Crosson, reached an evacuation point in Korea and are shown as they told their story to an army reporter in Japan. They have not heard from Shaula's father, an instructor at the Korean coast guard academy, since the outbreak of the war. Mother and daughter were unescorted on their flight. Their home is in Morristown, NJ.
