Lester Mondale, half-brother of Democratic Vice Presidential Candidate Walter F. Mondale, said 7/15 his brother will be an asset to the Jimmy Carter ticket, which he predicted would win the general election barring "some hellish mistake" by the Democratic candidates. The 72-year-old retired Unitarian minister and his wife, Rosemary, stroll in front of his hand-built cabin home on an 80-acre patch of wilderness in the Missouri Ozarks, 120 miles southeast of St. Louis.
