Circuit Judge Clarence Parrish posed in his courtroom with two derbies he received from London, England, after requesting only the price, including shipping costs, for a specific size from James Lock & Co., hatters. The contact with the hat firm was the result of a request Parrish made for information on derbies from an Englishman he had met during vacation in Freeport, Bahamas, last December.
