Nicholas Curich, of La Pinata restaurant, 807 S. 5th St., will be serving up his own version of the Spanish dish paella, a meal-in-a-pot with rice, seafood, pork and beef, chicken, vegetables and saffron, at Mexican Fiesta. the annual festival runs Friday through Sunday at the Summerfest grounds. Don't miss the tortilla-making competition or jalapeno pepper-eating contest at 1 and 2 p.m., respectively, Sunday.
