James Quarto, a former senior executive at Blunt Ellis & Loewi Incorporated has moved to a top management position at The Milwaukee Company, a competing brokerage firm. Quarto, a former senior vice president and director of the Loewi organization, was named executive vice president of the competing firm, where he will act as chief operating officer. He will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of The Milwaukee Company, which employs 77 registered representatives in 11 offices, according to Robert A Cooper, chairman and chief executive officer. William J Nasgovitz, who acquired a substantial interest in The Milwaukee Company in 1979, remains president and will concentrate on research and money management.
