Description
Delegates to the United Nations Security Council took their minds off the atom bomb temporarily at least to see Joe Louis explode his own two fisted type of atom bomb on the chin of challenger Billy Conn to stiffen him in the 8th round of their title bout at Yankee Stadium. Bernard Baruch purchased a block of twenty tickers at ringside for use by the delegates to the UN. The host and Russian delegate are pictured at ringside.
