1949 Press Photo Hugo Kuehner and his "Friedensbuch."

Pictured is author Hugo Kuehner along with his famous Friedensbuch. The book is nearly a meter long and half a meter wide. It has over 1,700 pages and is bound in pig leather. It was gifted to the United Nations on the occasion of the opening of the building in New York.
