Car Parking Exhibition.: Photo shows Pictured at today's Press preview of the car Parking Exhibition, at the Institute of Civil Engineers, London, is this ramp garage model. The garage, at Edwards Terrace, Cardiff will be owned and operated by a private company. It will occupy a site of 39,500 sq. ft., and have two floors ~~~~ above ground and 1 1/2 floors below ground. (The floors are entered from two opposite entrances, so that there are seven circuits in all for the 3 1/2 floors) There will be 720 car spaces, each costing £200, exclusive of land. The parking rates per day will be is, 6d (minimum) to 3s. (maximum) ; cars are customer-parked. Rate of intake and discharge, 480 car per hour.
