One Hundred years museum for art and trade in Hamburg - Special Exhibition ''Baroque plastic in North Germany'': ''Baroque plastic in North Germany'' is the title of a exhibition, which now as high light of the jubilee year is to see in the one hundred - year -old museum for art and trade in Hamburg. Shown are about 300 sculptures of different materials, as wood, marble, alabaster, bronze, ivory, amber, which originated from the time between 1600 and 1750. The geographical room includes Sleswig - Hostein, the Hanseatic towns from Bremen to Dantzig, Low Saxony, West - Phalia, Hesse-Cassel, Saxony, Brandenburg-Prussia, regions, which in this sector of art stood in the shadow of the South German and Austrian baroque till now. Many lenders at home and abroad made the works available, among these are the famous works of Ludwig Muenstermann, Balthasar Permoser and Andreas Schlueter he made this bronze plastic of the Prince of Hamburg (our picture) Schlueter created this bust of the Landgrave Friedrich II. of Hesse-Hamburg in 1701.
