Description
The End Of The Road Back. Less than three years after she almost died from three strokes which left her partially paralysed, Academy Award winning actress Patricia Neal is to return to the screen. She will leave for America next weekend to spend three months working on a new film. this courageous woman, who is the wife of writer Roald Dahl, has fought a long battle against disaster - one of her children died after an illness and her son Theo was seriously injured in an accident in New York, and when she was at the height of her career, having won an Oscar for her performance in 'Hud" Pat was struck down by her illness. But during these troubled times, Pat who now lived contentedly with her family in Great Missenden, had no doubts about her recovery; her youngest child was born while she was still partly paralysed. And now the end of the goal is in sight - and Pat feels that the effort of three month work will really put her back on her feet. Pat Neal, surrounded by flowers sent to her by well wishers as she prepares to leave for America and her return to the screen.
