Air-France's Oldest passenger flies to nice: Mrs. Marie Mering, 95, like every year took all alone Air -France's regular Caravalle to nice. But Mrs. Marie Mering used already in 1908 a free balloon to fly to Montargis and in 1916 she was one of the first women to fly an aeroplane. She knew ell aviation pioneer Santos Dumont and translated fro Lyautey braille writing into Arab. Now she will stay for a while in Cannes where as usual she will walk her two miles every day. Photo Shows: Marie Mering before entering theCaravelle which will take her to nice.
