Earth quake Wrecks the City of Agadir - Morocco... Many People Dies...
The city of Agadir, Morocco, much of which was newly rebuilt, now lies in ruins following the earthquake which struck the Atlantic coast of Southern Morocco. Reports say that the death role is very high, hundreds death, thousands injured. It is said that the whole of the Moroccan quarter was wiped out and three quarters of the Modern European section badly damaged. The shocks were felt 200 miles away. King Mohamed V and his son Crown Prince Moulay Hassan have flown to the area. Aircraft with medical and other supplies have been rumbed to the scene by French and American authorities.
