Derby Sunday On Epsom Downs And The Gipsies Arrive With Their Caravans In Spit Of Them Ban: Secular men will not use force to turn away gipsy families who are arriving in their caravans on Epsom Downs for Derby Week. The Securer have been retained by the conservators of Epsom and Walton Downs to tell those driving Caravans on to the down with the Conservators authority may be "liable to prosecution" But the energy gipsies have threatened to step the Derby being run if the attempt to ban them from their traditional gathering is carried out. Photo Shows Securer men check with the driver of his lorry to see weather he had the authority pass when he arrived on the Downs with his family today.
