Flashing Car Roof Light For Doctors Answering Emergency Calls: Without waiting for the approval of either the Home Office or the Chief Constables Association, the British Medical Association will launch on Monday its own scheme of priority traffic lights fitted to the tops of doctor's cars. The flashing car roof light, which can be temporarily fixed by magnets,has a green forward-facing lens, and, at the rear, an illuminated red staff and serpent symbol, and will be switched on only during emergency journeys.
