New Impregnated Waterproof Garments for Issue to Personnel of the Royal Navy. New type of fabric impregnated with polyvinyl chloride are now being introduced in to Royal Navy Service to replace oil skin garments, as stocks of the latter become exhausted. Keystone Photo shows: The new impregnated smock and trousers and the hood, which replaces the Sou wester.
