Lady Montague in sensation in cheksea..lucky escape from serious injury: Lady Montague of Bealiey travelled ot the Chelaes Town Hall this afternoon aboard an ancient horse drawn fire-engine-to take part in the opening of the 9th, Autumn Antiques Fair.. On arriving at teh Town Hall-the driver jumped from his driving seat and then then horse bolted-pulling the engine-wth Lady Montague still on board-some hundreds of yards along the high street-before it was again got under control.. Lady Montague was badly shaken up.. Lord Montague-driving one fo his veteran cars-chased the fire engine along the road.. Photo shows Lady Montague-very ~oared-pulls at the rains-while the driver runs to try to stop the runway horse-at the start of thhe un-scheduled run this afternoon.
