Big John's in Town. Everybody in the town knows Big John. With his colt 45, station hat and silver spus he looks like a character strength out of the old wild west. He can be seen most week -ends having a few beers in the local saloon. the British legion club at wigton (Cumberland). For 23-year old john Graham is a cowboy fanatic. And he likes to look the part when he has a night out. He said "I've always been very keen on cowboys and I never miss a western on television. "I bought a station three years ago and one thing led to another. I 've got a replica colt 45, spurs and waistcoats and I'm hoping to get some high heel boots in the near future. Six - footer John, a measuring clerk, of wigton, plans to spend his holidays this year with other western fanatics on a ranch in the new Forest. He added "Occasionally some of the lads in the British legion have a joke at my expense and call me "The milky bar Kis, but they are all used to my call me cloths now. "But I get off looks when ever there are any strangers about. They can hardly believe their eyes when a cowboy walks past them."
