Ira priest jailed for 12 years: A Roman Catholic priest who was the driving force and recruiting officer of the Conventry unit of the Ira was jailed for 12 years at Birmingham Crown Court last night. He is Father Patrick Fell, 32, an assistant priest at All Souls Church, Coventry. He was found guilty of conspiring to commit arson, conspiring to commit criminal damage and taking part in the control and management of the Coventry unit of the Ira.
