Britons coming for Colombo Plan meeting: In Seattle, Washington, on November 10th representatives of 18 nations from four continents will meet for the eighth annual conference of the Consultative Committee of the Colombo Plan for Cooperative Economic Development in South and South-East Asia. An international cooperative effort for economic progress, the plan has a technical assistance training programme which supports the capital development programmes of the Asian member countries to which almost four billion has been provided in the last six years by governments and institutions outside the area.
