A demonstration was recently held in Greeenock, Scotland, of inflatable liferafts which are becoming increasingly popular in Britain and will soon be compulsory in many types of vessels. Speed was a feature of the demonstration, the average raft being inflated and boardable in 30 to 45 seconds. Photo shows demonstrator shows how to right an upturned 25-man Elliot Liferaft.
