"Ever-Readies" off to Canada to take part in a tough survival course in the Rockies. Forty members of the territorial army emergency reserve ("Ever - Readies") , whose jobs range from stockbroker to crane driver, left their Mayfair headquarters today lyneham, where early tomorrow morning they will fly to Canada to take part in a month's tough survival course in the rocky mountains. They will be under the command of Lieut. Michael Baird, son of Vis count stonehaven, and formerly of the cold-stream guards, who is a stockbrokers. photo shows General T.H.Brubeck of the t.a. speaking to the platoon outside their headquarters in Mayfair before their departure for lyneham today.
