Assistance To Assistance, That's It: May 1973 - In Many Countries, a first class technical assistance to automobile owners is guaranteed by an equally first-class service offered by all those work-shops that are ~~sely linked, by contract, to the various automobile factories. But all the others? Those that want to be sure of their complete independence? In a country like Italy, there are a great many numbers of such work-shops that are very jealous of their autonomy. To guarantee their independence they would not dream of making a contract which offers many advantages, but also the risk of loosing autonomy. The Italian Fiat management has understood this particular situation, but instead of making u~less attempts to "Win the battle against an "Army of Independent Kings", Fiat now offers a great deal of tecnnical assistance to everyone who might require such assistance: specific technical instructions with all specific features and facts, repair rules but also specific equipment which will prove useful for quick and perfect repair of many defects and damages. The aim of this new and disinterested service is to offer a very maximum of security to all Italian and foreign atuomobilists.
