The united States has said that it intends to carry trough its large nuclear test at Amchitka. The U.S. Embassy in London had given the date as Thursday, 4th. November. The Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament today sent a pretest deputation to the United States Embassy in Grosvenor Square, London, and picketed the Embassy while the deputation was being received. Photo shows Dick Nettleton, General Secretary of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, pictured with his supporters after presenting a petition at the American Embassy today.
