Oil-Covered Swans Are Rounded Up-For Cleaning.
Many of the Thames oil-covered swans are being rounded up by R.S.P.C.A. officials for cleaning. Five of them were caught at Richmond.
Photo Shows: An R.S.P.C.A. official spraying some of the captured oil-covered swans with a hose to remove the surplus dirt before the oil is removed. This was the scene at the Putney Animal Clinic.
