Tackling a problem: Practically: The problems created by coloured immigrants to Britain is one which is particularly pressing at the moment. Visiting a school in his Wolverhampton constituency recently Mr. Enoch Powell poignantly described a class with only one white child. As our photographer discovered, Mr. Howell's but statement was a piece of political exaggeration but only a slightly exaggerated for the school in question was West Park Primary school, where the ratio of coloured children to white children is three to one - it is indeed a task to kick out the white children in the classes. But the Wolverhampton Education Committee is tackling this problem admirably the coloured children already in Britain are given the best educational facilities available to them, along with the minority of white children. Wolverhampton is obviously one of the problem areas and it is open to discussion whether or not immigration ought to be limited but at least the children, both white and coloured in this areas, are being brought up together and perhaps will grown up to understand and appreciate the differences and similarities of their races which is well on the way to solving the problem.
If coloured and white children are brought up together, was at West Park School, Wolverhampton perhaps the understanding will help to combat the coloured problem only time will tell.
