Fancy An Aligator As A Sleeping Partner?: WQell, 25 year old Ron Striman doesn't seem to mind that much, when his best mate Jaws, a somewhat sophisticated akligator, curls up beside for the night. Ron, who is a biology technician at Redbridge in Ramford, says that he quite oftenb has Jaws in his bed for the night. Jaws orginates from the Everglades in Mississippi, North America. At the moment he is some four feet in length and only weighs fourteen ponds. But he could grow to twice that length and eventually weigh about half a ton!. His mother, Mrs. Striman, dosen't like her son's pet very much and refuses to home into his bedroom, but Ron is sensible about his pets and dosen't allow them out of the room unless he is his pets a talk somewhere on the subject reptiles, He also has a reticulated python from Thailand, called Retic - Ron spends a great deal of his time studying the habits of these animals and firmly believes that special facilities should be set up at the British Safari Parks in Order to help this type of animal in it's fight for survival. Ron is trying to establish whether a crocodile or snake can be bred from home because there are so any being killed off for the value of their skins. One day, he wants himself to become a warden or researcher of some sort, dealing with all ears of reptiles in the hope that they can be saved from extinction.
