Country evening for Gen. Norstad: Meets English speaking Union Members at Paul Getty's Guildford home - After dining early with Sir Lionel and Lady Heald, NATO Supremo Gen. Norstad, his wife, guests Field Marshall Viscount Alexander, Lady Alexander and other political social 'brasshats' motored across to neighbouring Sutton Place, home of millionaire Paul Getty. Here the General, who had done a quick change into uniform addressed members of the Guildford English Speaking Union who had been offered the lavish Getty salon with its Gainsborough paintings for their celebrity studded meeting. Other guests were Earl of Cnslow from Clandon Park, Sir John and Lady Wenham, Sir Robert and Lady Nugent. The General appeared pleased with recent news that the Government is topsupport his demand for a new NATO Emergency Defence Plan.
