The new Deputy Leader of the Labor Party: The new Deputy Leader of the Labor Party is 46 years old Mr. George Brown, a lorry driver's son from Southwark. The result of the ballot among Labor M.P's showed that he had been elected by a majority of 63 votes. Mr. Brown got 146 votes and hi rival for the post, Mr. Fred Lee, got 83. Photo shows yesterday's picture of Mr. George Brown, the Labor Party's new Deputy Leader.
