Many big ships of the Royal navy-including HMS King George V and her sister ship HMS Anson-and Duke Of York- are among the many lying at anchor at Hareloch on the Clyde-ready for the breakers' yard. They have been condemned by the Defense White Paper which signals the biggest change in Military Policy ever made in normal times.
