New hope for rheumatism sufferers ' "Ernie can go - really go" is the lesson to be learned from this shot of former Minister of Transport,Ernest Marples one of his early morning 'jogs' round Hyde Park this morning. "Keeps me mentally and physically fit for the hurly burly of the House of Commons for the whole day. Every member should be made to do it everyday, he says. As the transport minister who tried to keep Britain on the move, Mr. Marples inspired the catch phrase "Ernie must go. and, later, when a new minister took over, the heartfelt prayer 'Brine back Ernie. A few months ago he brought back from Denmark a pill which he calls "a revolutionary breakthrough in the treatment of rheumatism "I've proved it myself by taking the tablets regularly. They really do work and we now have authority to say that they are recommended for the treatment of rheumatism. People who have been suffering for many years keen telling me that these minalka tablets have given them a new life. I intend asking a few of them to come and join me on these early morning runs. Who knows it may lead to the starting of the Minalka Olympics for former rheumatics sufferers."
