Dancer's fairy tale comes true : celebrating a magic start to the new year - Vivien Loeber last night shot to stardom from the racks of the corps de ballet at the royal festival hall in London. Vivien, 23, had just returned to the wings after taking part in the dance of the mirlitons in yesterday's matinee performance of the "Nutcracker" when Noleen Nicol, ensactiong the surges plum fairy, limped off stage with a sprained ankle. immediately Vivien was backened on to fill the role and before a packed audience she seized her chance, dancing the challenging solos and pas do deux without the a lightest a splendid job and danced divinely. photo shows Vivien lobber pictured last night after her great triumph.
